The only "Phenom specific" issue is generally EFi. You need to avoid a distro that uses PC_EFI v8 for the install disk (and most of them do...). For EFi you need Chameleon. Otherwise OSx86 issues...

I agree. I've long been an external USB hard drive user - BUT - I've also found making your optical (DVD) drive USB is also an excellent way to get past install problems with IDE or SATA issues.

Dude! What do you think ASU is??? I'm fairly certain Zeph is using Marvin's (or the same patcher Marvin's uses) in ASU to do the file checking and patching. Gotta admit, ASU is MUCH easier though!
