		 Well, it looks like I have to re-hash this old thread to say that I am also having this problem. I just discovered it after leaving my system on over night (I usually shutdown before I go to bed, so I didn't notice this before). 		 I've got the same issue (10.5.2 DVD -- relatively fresh install with all updates).  Every now and then my entire system seems to get "bogged down" (choppy mouse, choppy video, crackling audio) and I have to restart, rather bizarre.
