To piggyback on what thorazine74 said, you should also take the descriptions out from under 'Setfile" and "Show Drives" and instead put them into a pop-up tooltip (this is where I always look for option descriptions).
Interface design is hard... you have to approach it as if you have no idea what anything does, and see how much sense it makes. A tabbed design would fit better I think, since the functions performed by this app are pretty much unrelated, although they fit under the umbrella of 'looks'. Great first effort though. Keep it up.
