crencom, you and i have the same motherboard, i know that the lan does not work. I tried a lot to get it to.. eventually got a new nic off ebay for the cheap and used Tulip drivers to get it to work. As for the sound card, all you need is the ALC883Audio.mpkg and google found it

It was made by Tenda (model # TEL9939DI) and shows up as an ADMtek AN983 - thus the need for the Tulip drivers. Shipping was slow as it was so cheap. But it works! hope that this helps.

Sound needed the aziliaaudio package, however, no input. But, the logitech quickcam provided a USB mic, so there's input  I've installed EFI recently, and i'm preparing to go to 10.5.2, let you all know how it works. 10.5.2 installed w/o a hitch
