Hi!
This is my first guide so if something wrong don't be mad...
I use an Original DVD Snow Leopard for $29.00.

MY HARDWARE INFO:
...GA EX58 UD3R motherboard...
...INTEL CORE i7-920 2.66GHz CPU...
...6GB DDR3 1066 Kingston Memory...
...PNY NVIDIA 8800 GTX 768MB Video Card...
...Hitachi 1TB Hard DRIVE 7200RPM...

I have chameleon boot and i can switch Mac OS or Windows 7 from it ( i instal windows 7 on different hard drive first than unplugged it and install Mac OS, after that i plug it in back and now i can enter windows 7 from chameleon boot with no problem.

First you need to download Empire EFI here is the link and burn CD
there is 3 different EFI image files:

First is EmpireEFI_V108 - The regular version

Second is LegacyEmpirEFI_V108 - the legacy version (meant for problematic boards)

Third is EmpireEFI_V108_i5 - meant for CPU i5/i7 8xx Chipset P55 <---i use this one because i have an i7 920 CPU


BIOS SETTINGS

Go to your Bios Settings and change :

HDD Smart Capability to Enabled when it Disabled i can't boot to OS
SATA RAID/AHCI Mode to ACHI
Onboard SATA/IDE Device to ACHI

USB Keyboard Function to Enabled
USB Mouse Function to Enabled
.................................................. ....................
HPET Mode to 64-bit Mode ---> I install 2 system ( Windows 7 and Mac OS) both 64-bit i'm not sure if you have to change to 64Bit if you will use Windows 7 32Bit. either 32Bit & 64Bit HPED Mode will work.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION


Insert EmpireEFI CD, boot it from it, after you will see the picture and boot option inject EmpireEFI CD than insert Snow Leopard DVD

Press F5 wait untill you will see option Mac OSX Installation Disc

Press Enter Wait untilll you boot it to Mac OS Setup

Go to Utility - Disk Utility - Partition - Options then select GUID Partition Table not Master Boot Record than give the name for your Hard Drive and Press Apply,after that close Disk Utility

You can go to Customize before installation and unselect all Font,Printers and everything else-you can install that later (because sometimes cause kernel Panic) - I DON'T HAVE IT i selected everything i need it.
Than Install Snow Leopard.

After Snow Leopard will finish installation reboot and remove Snow Leopard DVD (DON'T BOOT FROM HARD DRIVE)

Insert Empire EFI CD and Boot it from it.

Then you will see the picture and boot option Select Mac OS X Snow Leopard and boot it.

After you will boot it to the Snow Leopard OPEN your EmpireEFI CD than go to Extra then Post_Installation than Install myHack Installer. ( You can customize it - i didn't customize it.) Also you can read READ ME.txt if need it.


Now you need some programs to fix everything

After that you will need install your KEXT for Video Card you can find some here

AUDIO KEXT (for this motherboard only) here is the link

INTERNET KEXT my internet works after installation ok but didn't recognize my TimeMachine Back up Drive than i find this kext and it fixed that problem so you can install this oen too.) here is the link

ABOUT THIS MAC FIX ( If your CPU is Unknown like my CPU) here is the link

I didn't download from SOFTWARE UPDATE CAUSE I HAVE PANIC ONCE maybe it's something different but i download it from here you can try download using software update or download from link.
------> 10.6.1 update from here ---> link install it and reboot
After that download 10.6.2 update from here --->link install it and reboot
After 10.6.2 my audio is gone and i install my kext it again.

All i have to fix it's DDR3 1066 recognize like DDR 400 and my model is not MacPro it recognize it like Mac Mini 2.1 but it ok for me.

ALL KEXT I INSTALL A FEW TIMES FOR PROPERLY WORKING ON MY MACHINE ( i just press install after that instal and one more instal (3 times) than just after that it works (maybe it's only on my machine not sure.if you can't install it try like me.)

i have a alienware m15x gaming laptop
ic7 core, GT240m nvidia graphics

the only guide i manage to install snow leopard was by using ur guide..
everything went smoothly, until i install my hack package,
after a reboot, the chameleon did loads up, but after choosing snow leopard drive, it can't boot..
however if i select, windows 7..
i can boot..
so i need some advice, and point me out the neccessary action i need to do, or any extra steps..
and yea i have a 320GB HDD, ive partition it, if this helps.

@gadzhev79 First congratulations on your simple and easy guide.

But I have a very important questions (I'm thinking about buying this board and processor):

1. I wonder if you have problems with turn on/shutdown, but especially with sleep/ wake up. I use this option because hardly ever turn off my machine, I leave my programs and documents open and the browser full of tabs, so when I am ready to work in seconds.

2. About detecting memory at 400MHz, you found it a solution?

I find solution for ATI HD4650 :
1. Update to 10.6.4
2.Modify both "IOPCIMatch" Ati4600.kext and Ati2000.kext on the desctop with :
0x94981002 0x94981002 (necessary EVOenabler.kext to)
3.Use KextHelper7 to install
4.reboot
5.Enjoy

trying to install osx with a retail copy of 10.6.0

i tried following this guide in attempt to repair my screwy mac install (it really needs to just be reinstalled. but osx setup hangs during load/initialization. ideas?

sata running in AHCI mode. setup crashreboots when its in ide mode for some reason.
