I'm running Zephyroth's 10.5.2 Rev1 on an AMD X2.
So far everything had been working very nicely and all problems could be solved with some searching.

One problem that I couldn't directly find a solution for where Toast 9 and Popcorn 3 crashing on launch with this error:

Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)
Exception Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x00000000b5b5b5b5
Crashed Thread: Unknown

I found this thread for WoW that crashed witht the same error message:
http://osx.kbot.de/comments.php?DiscussionID=616

I downloaded Marvin's AMD Utility from here:
http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=67917

and first tried to run it on the Toast application to no avail. Then I ran it on /System/Library/Frameworks and it found three cpuids the OpenGL framwork.

I was able to fix the startup crash by creating a patcher package with Marvin's Utility and then applying the patch as super user (I didn't have to restart into single user mode) like this:

- sudo -i
(enter your password)
- cd ~/Desktop/2008.03.23_at_19.39/patches
(or where ever your patch is)
- ./patcher cpuid.txt
- exit

I didn't even have to reboot, Toast and Popcorn launched fine after that. Though I haven't tried to do anything with those applications yet.

Hope this info is useful to some!

yeah, it's a pretty good habit to always run Marvin after a new app is installed, especially when it's a major app like Toast or Adobe apps, etc...although, in many cases, it's good to restart and apply patches in single user mode just to stay on the safe side. personally, i like to have a spare copy of osx running on another parition, so i just let Marvin go to work all at once from there. it's a lot more automated that way. but that's only if you have the partition to spare

This was the first time I had to use Marvin's Utility. I've installed Zephyroth's Rev.1, had to fiddle and update drivers but apart from that, everything worked fine out of the box.
Toast and Popcorn where the first applications that needed Marvin's. Actually, the OpenGL framwork needed Marvin's and Toast/Popcorn only indirectly.
