Hello there,

I installed successfully iDeneb v1.4 on my config (see bellow) :

Proc : Athlon 64 X2 4850e
Mobo : Asus M3A78-EM
Memory : OCZ Gold GX XTC 2x1Go PC6400
HDD Type : HDD1 : SATA, HDD2 : IDE
HDD Size : HDD1 : 320Go (50Go/NTFS/Active/Primary : Vista + 250Go NTFS Storage), DD2 : 250Go (20Go/FAT32/Active/Primary Mac OSx86, 212Go Storage)
Graphic : IGP HD3200 (Chipset 780G+SB700)
Network : Realtek RTL8168C

I installed thoses packages and options (see bellow) :

- ALC1200
- AppleATIATA
- Voodoo kernel 9.5.0
- Realtek R1000
- AppleSMBIOS 800
- Seatbelt fix

I have now some issues with Sound and Graphic :

- I use HDMI Mobo output
- Graphic is limited to 800x600
- Audio don-t work on HDMI Mobo output but is OK on front panel output (I have 3 possibilities in the Sound menu : "Internal Speaker", "Headphone" and "Digital Output")

Any fix for those issues ? (I don't really need QE/CI, but higher definition and I don't really need 5.1, but at least Stereo).

Thanks for your help

I am not too familiar with your setup but you should definitely shoot for QE/CI support as this is required by a great deal of applications just to run.

MOBO: Z77MX-QUO-AOS CPU: Core i7 3770K GPU: MSI N760 TF 2GD5/OC Case: Modded MacPro2,1
Memory: 32GB Corsair Vengeance (CMY32GX3M4A1600C9) Wifi: Airport Extreme bcm94321MCA BIOS: HermitCrab Labs H3A.816M
Monitor: AOC Q2963Pm 29" WFHD 2560x1080 21:9
Interests: KDE on Apple Darwin, Keeping it real with the command line, Helping those that help themselves

Hello...

OK, I agree, but first of all, I want higher resolution and 2.0 sound... Of course, later, I'll investigate further for QE/CI, 5.1, etc...

I know that this graphic is not supported at that time, but, I saw on InsanelyMac that someone had higher resolution on HDMI output...

Anyone for a fix ?

well...

all i can suggest is for you to try to force the resolution at start up by using this command:

"Graphics Mode"="1280x1024x32" ... just change the resolution from lower to higher... if by some reason your OS doesnt not start up dont worry this wont make any permanent change, just restart and do it again until you get the highest res possible, once you get the one you want just use the OSX86TOOLS to add a boot flag, and use the res...

if this works for you let me know...GOOD LUCK!
