Hmm, after investigating further you are right (at least for Leopard, see my previous post), but according to Mysticus C over on InsanelyMac, the 4gb ram issue is caused by incompatibility with the nForce driver and 64bit. I'm only guessing here but it is possible it could effect booting.

this will be fix in the future as this is just alpha

All perfect with alpha11, without bus ratio's boot, sounds is perfect.
Installed also system kexts from 10.5.5
