Mac OS X 10.5.5 released
Apple today released the Mac OS X 10.5.5 update which is recommended for all users of Mac OS X 10.5.x. The update includes over a hundred bug fixes and more than two dozen security enhancements.
At the time of writing, the update, which weighs in at 321MB, was only available via Software Update. In addition to general stability improvements and over two dozen security enhancements, the update addresses issues with Address Book, Disk Utility, iCal, Mail, MobileMe, and Time Machine. Yes, it works on Hackintosh (at least for me). :-)
1. Installed using Zephyroth ASU (previous version: Leo4All v3 + 10.5.4 Update) 2. Re-enabled QE on my NVIDIA 8800GT using EFI Studio Be noted that injectors do not work currently with 10.5.5 drivers so delete them if you use one. EFI strings work. |

i assume its safe to d/load for AMD via the online updates then? without having to use the Software Update from Zephyroth?
i have looked for it on the leo4all forum site but the link seems to be broken for the Zephyroth ASU updater :-( did the usual google searches with no result any idea where one can obtain this form? let me know thanks as i can't destroy my install ta :-) Last edited by timski; 09-16-2008 at 02:58 PM. |

cant connect
i am getting this cant connect check settings error when i use the application
here is the error http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/4946/picture1ws6.png its weird as i am online and getting a connection and can see the update in the apple updates. any ideas on how to resolve this one |

mDNSResponder Warning!!!!
AAAAHHHH!!! I just updated to 10.5.5 with ASU and I can only boot up in safe mode. I get an mDNSResponder Warning

Updating to 10.5.5 works fine here using ASU.

It stalls at that error and won't advance. I can boot in safe mode. Also, when I ran ASU the first time to install the update, it gave me the grey sreen telling me to restart my computer? So, I used OSx86tools to revert back to 10.5.4 and it boots fine now but just gave me the grey restart screen. puzzled
