Guys, I've finally got shutdown working now....

Does anyone that is using chameleon with the graphicsenabler flag set to yes have any problems with their computer not completely shutting down?

If I set it to NO then my laptop will power down...

If so that is the problem more than likely with the shutdown issue. I am experiencing the same issue. I can set GraphicsEnabler=No and my laptop will shutdown...

Which chameleon package are you using? If you are using the latest make sure and add GraphicsEnabler=Yes to your boot.plist
