I've installed paragons NTFS on mac osx, and.. even though it's said it has snow leopard support, it doesn't work at all.
without any app for NTFS support, i can only read NTFS partitions.

Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R;
Intel Core2Duo E6550 @2.33GHz;
XFX 9800 GT 512 mb;
4 GB RAM;
Acer AL2216W 22" display
