Mar 18 10:41:56 d54C18B21 /System/Library/CoreServices/backupd[305]: Backup failed with error: 18 . I've tried erasing, renaming, fixing permissions, deleting com.apple.timemachine.plist, reselecting disk. It has been a few weeks since I did my last update but nothing major changed in my OS so I'm stunned. Same deal bud
 I don't know if it's normal but I cannot repair permissions on any of the USB volumes (Storage, Tiger and Time Machine) Mind you, I didn't have any probs a few weeks ago. No error 35 as far as I can tell, just above error and in Time Machine prefs it says that it cannot find backup volume.
Like it keeps searching for previous backups. Another error in console:
"failed to get MAC address for machine" My net works though and Ethernet tab shows adress. any ideas? Those with a working time machine could you please share the IONetworking and SMBIOS kext you are using, thx.
