Saphire ATI Radeon x1650 Pro (0x71c6) problems

ok so i have finnaly got leopard to work the only part i cant get is my vid card to change resolution or have qe/ci enabled

i have tried several options, Zeph's x1600 install package, MacLovin's x1600 (71c6) install package, Modbin's install package(works fine on my tiger install qe/ci and rez change), and editing the ATIRadeonx1000.kext and other files along with it with my device id. i am getting nowhere with this i would love some help if possible from anyone, this is the last step for me to finnaly use Leopard and drop tiger.

if need be i will try to provide any information needed

There are definately a few reported users getting QE/CI working with some glitches. But I don't think anyone can change resolutions, sorry to say.

odd part is i have gotten to change rez, but then no qe/ci, i have tried the solution that firewalk had posted and got a result of a black screen. i even tried to copy and past my graphics kexts from my working tiger install over to leopard with no luck :-(

Is your x1650 pro PCI-E or AGP?

Hi There, My card is PCIE. i have all resolutions 640x480 upto 1920x1200. i use atinject and ati1000 kexts. all seems to be working fine..

omg firewalk i would love you if you sent me the kexts, because i am a moron and realized im using 10.5.1 kexts and not 10.5.2 kexts so if you could E-mail: [email protected]
