install without efi bootloader

what would happen if i installed without efi bootloader. would the os run properly or would there be problems.

The first time i forgot to select Efi Mbr and i could install anyway, but i had to boot from the dvd. No way to boot without the dvd.

lol fesob if you didn't select the partition script there is/was a simple solution.. check the "make mac partition bootable" on the wiki

so what your saying is i don't need to install efi with mbr if i just make the drive bootable.?

i read that. doesn't really state if i need it or not. it just says what it is and what the benefits are.

the system CAN work without efi, but OYUR OS X INSTALLATION IS MORE STABLE so ITS BETTER TO HAVE EFI.. anyway you decide
