you need to copy them over as you say but then you need to repair the permissions of the kexts other wise they wont load correctly so you need to search on google how to repair permissions. Im not really going to explain the repair permissions procedure as its going off topic and its the one thing in the unix world you need to know how to do from a command shell otherwise it will cause problem after problem
