Whats are differences between a mac and a PC?
well there are 2 things
1 mac's have efi and no bios we fixt that with DSDT
and whats the second?
....
2 all macs have a smc chip a small security device made bye apple.
what does it do? it decodes a few files we know. we hackes use a work around
the dsmos.kext. we have had this one for years but with the com st of the last version snow leo it did not work any more. and this time around the work around was not that easy. so a few bright people came to gather and they made a emulator of the chip. so that in the future this has bin fixed , yep its safe to say we are gettign closer and closer to making hack update proof.
