oh sorry i was focused on another part of the bootloader,
have you already tested this flag in your boot.plist (org.chameleon.Boot.plist or com.apple.Boot.plist)
Code:
"Graphics Mode"="WIDTHxHEIGHTxDEPTH" (e.g. "1024x768x32")
