So I finally got around to installing 10.5.2. Everything works pretty well out of the box except my x1600 card.

I chose the drivers during install. Booted up to a 1024x768 screen. Replaced the kexts with the ones I was using in 10.5.1. Looked promising, QE/CI worked, however all of my menus are black. Any ideas on whats wrong? Here's a screen Here Athlon x64 X2 4200+ 2GB RAM DDR400 Asus A8N5K mainboard ATI x1600 Pro |

Not sure what ones you were using in 10.5.1 but you must use the kext files from 10.5.2 (graphics updated) or you will get graphic glitches as you describe.

I agree with eddie I got the same effects using new kernel and no graphics update.

Can I install the Graphcis update through the software updater? Will I need to use Marvin's Utility afterwards?
