I really don't want to bring up old threads... but I can't get my setup to work. I am running 10.5.8 with all the security and java updates (if that makes a difference)
I have an eHome receiver and an Apple Remote... Mira software recognizes the receiver just fine but when i try to pair it with the remote it doesn't work!
I tested this on another Hackintosh (intel based) and the receiver and the remote work just fine, so my guess is it has something to do with my setup.
I tried uninstalling, deleting the mira driver, even trying remote buddy and all to no avail. I cannot get this to work. The receiver light comes on and freezes when it detects the remote (and mira does not respond) Please help out!
