I got past the ERROR....

as you Said... I played with the IDE/SATA drivers in the iATKos v7 customization & Selected INTEL SATA/IDE driver....

And lo! it went past the "still waiting for Root device"



But then the boot stopped at a blank BLACK SCREEN... GoDDD Damn....

I booted with -V flag... also tried -x (safe mode) but it never reaches anywhere. Any ideas. please...



P.S.: I tried to delete NVIDIA drivers but I cannot even reach the -s mode. Black screen Everywhere.

hai..everyone.!!
iAtkos v7 10.5.7 run smoothly in may pc. but i had problem with Final cut pro. can't install. when i open install and run it. there a big noticed. Install Failed!
"The installer could not locate the data it needed to install the software. Check your install media or internet connection and try again or contact the manufacture for assistance.".
well i already check the disk and is all fine.i install in another comp.its ok.
when i boot my pc with -v there a lso can anyone help me. i'm new in mac pc. i'm googling it everywhere and can't find anything to solved my problem.

My problem is that after using the -v command my pc just restarts now i have read that "This probably means the kernel by the dvd as default is not combatible with your CPU, you can especify different kernels located into the dvd and try them to boot the dvd", now i dont really understand what to do?.

using Everest apparently my mobo is named Dell Studio 540 the same as the pc.

Everytime i want to install, i've used all buttons like -v etc. My PC sais:

how to make all my driver works???all my driver not works

spec:
acer aspire 4530
amd turion x2 - change to core 2 duo
nvidia 9100mg -not works
wireless atheros - not works
bluetooth-not works
wired gigabyte - not works
audio realtek - not works

its ok to me if audio and graphic works

iATKOS v7 is running smooth on my msi u100, had only to install correct gma950 drivers, the provided drivers in the dvd didnt work out of the box, but everything else is running great, only thought is about updating to 10.5.8, i know the sleep problem and sleepenabler.kext can fix it but i don't wanna mess with it, 10.5.7 is great!

I have successfully installed iATKOS v7 on a dual boot PC with a Gigabyte mobo - everything works well with the exception of the video card (Nvidia 9600GT 1MB) which limits my resolution to 1024x768x32 ... any suggestions on what is the easiest way of fixing this .. I have a monitor capable of displaying 1360x768x32 and would like to acheive this resolution.

I have modified the .plist without success.

i downloaded iATKOS v7 via tpb the checksums are as follows

if so why when i burn the dvd there's only 480kbs worth of files written?

is there away to make a bootable flash drive using the iso?

Installed iAtkos...installation was very smooth.

But after that it doesn't boot....it shows a blank screen with a binking cursor.

System Hardware is

Intel Core 2 Dou 2.2 ghz
Intel 945 gcnl motherboard.
160 gb seagate sata hard disk.

There is no graphics card...i think it will have in built in it.
