As expected, the 3G iPhone 2.0 has been released today, 9th June 2008 at the World Wide Developer Conference Keynote in San Francisco.
Apple users world-wide have been watching the event using live chats, or will watch the event soon. Apple will publish a video with a record of the entire WWDC Keynote tonight.
The new iPhone includes 3G network support, enterprise support, third party application support, more countries & it’s more affordable! Apple has learned a lot with the first iPhone. They have used their experience and more to create the iPhone 3G. It’s thinner, has a black plastic back, solid metal buttons, same gorgeous display, camera, flush headphone jack, GPS and dramatically improved audio!

Apple recently updated the iPhone SDK to Beta 4 and simultaneously released the iPhone OS 2.0 Build 5A258f.
The new build allows the iPhone Simulator to run OpenGL ES, which allows easy game development. iPhone Simulator has now got the iTunes Store & the App Store included, the App Store still remains inactive until the official release though.

Apple released a new beta of the iPhone Software Development Kit today. The new Build 9A2151 can be downloaded by registered iPhone developers.
The 1.4 GB sized download includes the Interface Builder, an application of Apple’s development tools, which lets developers create interfaces for their applications.

iPhoneNotes is an application for jailbroken iPhone or iPod Touch owners, which has been developed by v1ru8.net. It’s dedicated to make it possible to load notes of your iPhone or iPod Touch to your Mac to administrate them. You can either edit the current notes, or add & delete and transfer them back to your device. This feature has been requested by many users in the past, but unfortunately Apple has not yet published an Utility like this.
